M.Sc Aquaculture
s a postgraduate Aqua Science course. Aquaculture, also known as aqua-farming, is the farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, crustaceans, molluscs and aquatic plants. It includes the study of Aquatic Toxicology, Biodiversity, Fish Nutrition, Fish diseases, Immunology and endocrilogy. The faculty does investigations on varied aspects of fish, frog, broilers and mice as experimental models. The duration of the course is two years and it is career orienting in nature which opens many career opportunities after passing it. The course is job orienting in nature that opens many opportunities after passing it.
Programme Objectives
This programme will prepare you to work in the aquaculture industry and create a pathway towards management. They will gain knowledge and skills in aquaculture systems, how they work, and how to best manage them. The objective of the programme is to make the students join the aquaculture industry quite quickly and with a qualification.

Eligibility:
Students should have passed B.Sc., with Zoology/Fisheries/Fishery Science/Aquaculture/Industrial Fish and Fisheries as one of the subjects in three subjects of equal importance/B.Sc., Degree in Fisheries or B.F.Sc. or B.Voc
